Before DSC I would go to a gym and do cardio/weights by myself which was wicked boring.
Since I had no one to work with and no guidance I'd stop going.
This inconsistency kept me from any of the results I was looking for.
When I started at DSC I had the goals of losing weight and getting back into shape.
Last year I was the heaviest I'd ever been at 225lbs and got winded just playing with my kid.
I remember coming into DSC for the first class scared and wondering what I got myself into. Before the workout I was nervous I'd fail or look like a fool as I was in terrible shape.
These fears quickly disappeared when the coaches were there to guide me through each exercise and make sure I went at my own pace.
I think the biggest thing that put me at ease was the welcoming camaraderie of the group.
I instantly started losing weight, gaining strength and endurance. I was hooked.
A few months into my training at Dynamic I decided to take the next step.
I joined Dynamic's Nutrition Coaching Group in May.
The reason I joined was because I was seeing amazing results but felt stuck in a lull and figured it was my diet. I was hoping to gain knowledge and tips to better my nutrition and kick start more fat loss.
The program was awesome!
I learned many tips that are a huge help.
Specifically about pre and post-workout nutrition. I am part of the early birds , 5am class and go to the gym right after waking up. The nutrition coaching program gave me simple ideas to make at 4 in the morning.
Ever since starting, the pre and post workout have been easier and I have had more energy during the workouts!
During the 8-week Nutrition Coaching Group alone I lost 7.1 lbs -- 6 of which was pure fat.
In the 12 plus months at DSC I am down 45 pounds, 4 pant sizes and 2 shirt sizes. 💪
I am now fitting in a pant size I haven't seen in 7 years.
My weight is where it was 8 years ago.
I have now completed several road races and 2 Spartan races, which I never thought was possible!
My overall experience has been amazing.
I have seen results I never thought possible and I am in the best shape I have been in since basic training.
The coaches, the workouts and the members are what set DSC apart.
It is way more than a gym and you are way more than a number.
Big gyms don't see the changes and push their members like the DSC team does.
My favorite part is how the coaches continue to push us and know when we can use more encouragement.
If you are thinking of joining DSC, all I can say is: DO IT!!!!
You will love the combination of workouts and nutrition coaching. These are things that will last a lifetime!
